The Luminaires Group acquires Luminis
Montreal, QC, December 1, 2016 - The Luminaires Group (“TLG") (www.theluminairesgroup.com) today announced the acquisition of Luminis (www.luminis.com), a Montreal-based manufacturer of innovative indoor and outdoor specification grade LED lighting solutions. Focused on design and function, the Luminis product offering is a perfect complement to the TLG portfolio of award-winning brands. “The Luminaires Group acquisition of Luminis reinforces our commitment for strategic growth and innovation as we bring yet another established brand into The Luminaires Group’s family” said Christian B. Luminis will operate as a standalone division and maintain its operations in Montreal. Luminis will continue to be managed by Nicolas Cohen, current President and a founding member of Luminis. “We will continue to focus on our national and regional partners and customers in the commercial and institutional markets. Luminis, as the other divisions of TLG, will maintain their separate agent networks and distribution channels to ensure that customers continue to receive the attention and service they’ve come to expect” added Mr. Cohen.
