Luminis Wins Two LIT Design Awards™

Montreal, QC, November 24, 2022 – Luminis® (www.luminis.com), an established innovator and manufacturer of specification-grade, interior and exterior lighting solutions, today announced its Bellevue and Hollowcore luminaire families have each received a LIT Design Award.

The LIT Design Awards™ were created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. An esteemed jury of designers and leaders in the lighting, interior design, and architectural fields evaluated each submitted design. Bellevue was recognized in both the Outdoor Wall Lighting and Street Lighting categories, while Hollowcore was awarded in the Ceiling Lights category.

The Bellevue family includes bollards, wall-mount, and columns. Bellevue columns are available in three unique optic types to address different needs for directional, pedestrian and street illumination. An advanced optical system in the bollards and wall-mount fixtures creates a uniformly illuminated surface for powerful area lighting. With a modern rectilinear design, this selection allows the Bellevue aesthetic to be carried throughout multiple spaces in exterior projects.

Hollowcore was introduced as a re-think of a traditional high bay pendant. It was designed to optimize and deliver light evenly and where needed with a unique circular LED light engine and an open center concept. The LIT Design Award recognized the new larger 30" diameter version of the product. The lens version of the new luminaire delivers up to 22,500 delivered lumens of uniform downlight. And an optional independently controlled uplight component is available, delivering up to 7,800 additional lumens for upward illumination or highlighting ceilings.
